I loved the little green make up case. I use mostly Merit make up as well and find it so great for travel for the exact reasons you stated. Do you know where you found that green case?

I tried the Emme Parsons Bari sandal. I found the footbed slippery so I had to sell them on a second hand site.

I'm very curious about the linen shirts...don't they look a mess with wrinkles galore? I bought a short-sleeved one from JCrew, but regret that I didn't think about the cuffed sleeve--what a nightmare to iron after washing! Maybe it doesn't matter so much with the long sleeves. I would feel the need to pack a steamer. Loved your capsule! Have a wonderful trip!

I packed very conciously for a 3 week trip last month to Spain, near Madrid...all lovely interchangeble summerstuff and a bikini. And I ended up buying heavy jeans, turtlenecks and extra socks because it was so f*ing cold...Layering just wasn't enough....

I would not wear the SAME shirt for 5 days😳 you just used the same items matched differently - this is not difficult

Sardegna is super relaxed, and super hot this year, with the heatwave!! It's all about the beautiful beaches and a cooler breeze in the evenings as its an island. You don't have many vests or day shorts. You would probably wear both trousers and the dresses and the lighter cover ups are perfect. Maybe you can wash garments whilst your there anyway. But you'll have a great time whatever you take... Buona vacanza!

Have a wonderful holiday and one of my packing tips is I love tankinis and with each bathing suit top I try to have two bottoms because I don’t like sitting in a wet bottom and so therefore it’s like having more bathing suits.

Great, practical approach to carry on packing. I have travelled for business all of my career and learned early on to be very strategic about packing. Coffee, lunch, girls night out at a fabulous patio bar with a reggae band, the grocery store (you’d look so iconic and mysterious everyone would wonder what recipe you’re shopping for). In about a week I'm going to France, Spain and Portugal for about 5 weeks! I've been planning what to take for months and I keep changing my mind. I'm not a very casual person and I usually wear a slot of white, so trying to figure out what that means clothes washing wise. I feel like I should wear colour that doesn't show marks, but then I won't be dressed as myself. You've reminded me that I have a nice tshirt dress too, so I need to find it! 3 swimsuits is ok, on Trinny London , she was taking 6 bikinis for 6 days. 😂 Have fun on your trip!

I really don't like those tailored shorts, there's a reason why you never see younger women wearing them, they scream middle-aged to me and not in a good way. I like the denim ones, thought they're way too faded imo. I am Italian, I've never seen button-down shirts worn as beach cover-ups or as summer clothes, the ironing alone would put any beach-goer off. Just wear the (linen) dresses, light cotton jeans/denim skirts, cute t-shirts/blouses

Those Emme Parsons sandals are indeed amazing. I got them on TRR after your video last year and wore them on my next trip all over Barcelona. Very chic, very comfy.

I have just a little less than 2 months till my annual leave. Feels like a lot 😅

I often put a large wallet bag in my large tote when I travel to use as a smaller bag when needed. I have a Hobo brand one that works great👍😁 Safe and Happy travels! Oh a large wrap is always good that you can wear as a rap in the evening or on the plane and as a swimsuit cover up ! Love multi use❤️

hope you are having a great time! Your packing videos are always so helpful to me. I used your previous tip on a trip to Peru in April and was thaknful to be travelling light. I'm going to Australia with my family for the month of August and I have a feeling packing light may not be achieved :P I find it's easier when it's just me or just me and my husband but adding my daughter to the mix, I just give up and pack check-in luggage :D
